Using wool fertilizer, derived from wool which has no alternative use provides several benefits for enhancing the growth tree saplings.

After almost 20 years of research in some the of the most prestigious European and American Universities and 4 years of on the ground trials conducted by our partner growers and us, we are proud to state the following:

1. Using our Woolpell makes a hugely significant and quantifiable difference in the establishment and growing of trees from seedlings to saplings and on tomature growing trees and in the reinvigoration and protection of trees that have been planted and established for many years, whether majestic or fruit bearing.

2. We are the only company in the world that holds all the major Organic Certificates – CERES and NOP USDA amongst others and that produces the fertilizer on a large scale thus enabling us to meet the demands from commercial and public forestry, fruit growing tree producers and NGO Greening Programs.

Here are some key advantages of using Woolpell –

1. *Nutrient-Rich*: WOOLPELL is high in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which are essential nutrients for sapling and tree growth. It also contains other micronutrients like sulphur, magnesium, and calcium that support overall plant health.

2. *Slow Release of Nutrients*: Wool breaks down slowly in the soil, providing a steady release of nutrients over time. This slow release helps prevent nutrient leaching and ensures that saplings receive available nutrients over a longer time period.

Chemical fertilizers reduce beneficial soil organisms requiring increased amounts of chemicals to be applied in the future to achieve the same results. This is absolutely not the case with Woolpell.

9. *The Mycorrhizal Network*: As our Woolpell fertilizer is 100% organic, it has no detrimental effect on the mycorrhizal network, which enables the transfer of water, carbon, nitrogen and other materials between trees, unlike many commercial inorganic fertilizers.

We have carried out trials and our results have shown:

• A large increase in the uptake of seeds
• The sapling survival rates have increased by up to 100%
• The trees when planted enter their growing cycle more quickly as there is no settling in period, trials in Turkey we have undertaken have produced walnuts on a 1-year-old tree.
• The costs of production are greatly reduced
• The use of water can be reduced as each 1kg of fertilizer can hold up to 3litres of water.

Fertawool organic wool pellet fertilizer is an ideal source of slow release, season-long organic fertilizer. Because wool pellets hold up to 20 times their weight in water, this ensures that plants have to be watered less frequently and that seedlings will survive a weekend away.

Fertawool organic wool pellet fertilizer helps to aerate the soil and avoid soil compaction and assists in drawing excess water away from the plant in the event of over watering.

Fertawool organic wool pellets contain a naturally occurring weed suppressant and protects delicate plants from attacks by slugs, snails and ants.  The pellets do not dissolve with watering and are safe if ingested by pets, although probably not that tasty!
